Destination: Japan

I'm going to Japan on 14-28 September 2011. It's my dream trip.

Besides being a dream trip, the trip will be labeled often as... "My first...".

  • My first trip to Japan.
  • My first trip to Asia.
  • My first long-distance flight.
  • My first lone trip abroad.
  • My first one bag (backpack) trip.
  • My first concert of B'z! (one of my most favourite Japanese bands ever!).
  • My first time on bullet train.

Considering all those things, I'm really quite cool about this trip. My family, unfortunately, isn't. :( I mean, I know the culture, I know the language (both spoken and written), have some friends in various cities (who I'll meet)... What's to be afraid of?

I'd be more afraid if I'd travel with another person - that I would be responsible him/her.

So far, my trip schedule looks like:

14 - departure (Warsaw via Moscow)
15 - arrival - Tokyo
16 - 18 - Tokyo
19 - getting on train to Fukuoka (with stop at Himeji)
20 - 21 Fukuoka
22 - Kyoto
23 - Fukui (concert!)
24 - Osaka
25 - going to Tokushima (Kobe & Awaji Islands)
26 - Tokushima
27 - Tokyo
28 - departure

I'll travel a lot, so I've decided to buy 2-week JR Pass (for trains) and since bigger bags are inconvenient in Japanese trains, to limit myself to one bag (backpack) which will pass as a carry-on too.

Comments on the route or on traveling to Japan are more than welcomed. :)

Stay tuned for more news on my preparation for a Japanese trip.
